| Kind of random post, but the weather sucks and I'm board, so time to jump on tt.net! Just need to weld it like this, mount it to a back board, find a clock that will fit snug in the ring, and make an engraved emblem thing saying that it is a rear end out of a 300ZX Twin Turbo with 115,000 miles to mount on the board beside it, and I'll have a nice garage clock :) 
Nice and shiny after 115,000 miles of use. The guy that installed my ring and pinion was amased at the good shape that the gears and bearings were all in once I told him the mileage, but then he did go on to say that the rear ends in these cars of ours are very sturdy and kept going on about how beefy they were, which is always nice. 
New 4.10s in. The slight rust is just where the gasket does not touch. 
The old gear location till I turn it into a neat clock.
